The Alumni association of Govt Arts College, Ariyalur was formed on 08/04/2017 named as munnal manavar sangam, arasu kalai kalluri ariyalur(in tamil) in the presence of Dr G. Greeta mary thenral Principal of this College, Dr M.Rajamoorthy Coordinator of the Alumni Committee, Dr S.Chitrarasu HoD of Tamil Deparment, Dr.A.Arul HoD of Environment Deparment,Dr.V.Poyyamani Associate Professor of Tamil Department and other faculty members and many enthustic former students of the college.

The welcome speech for occasion was geven by the president Dr.V.Poyyamani Associate Professor of Tamil Department followed, Dr A.Pari HoD of the Department of Tamil, Annamalai University, Chithambaram, Mr P.Gopinath ITS, Rtd Professor Senguttuvan and many other alumni were present for the formation of Alumni meet. The Representative from Ex-students were elected unopposed for the various posts of Executive committee by the ex-students present. The elected committee members were felicitated by Principal Dr G.Greetta mary thenral.
